Dolphin Island Resort consists of 4 private elegant villas and is located on a small island just off the main Island of Viti Levu, the location of Fiji's International airport.

Arriving at Nadi Airport you can take an easy 2 - 2.5 hour transfer by road following an interesting coastal route to Rakiraki, and then a 20 minute cruise Other transport options include helicopter or seaplane.

Just a 20 minute cruise off the Fijian mainland, surrounded by crystal-clear, turquoise water, wafted by soft sea breezes with beautiful sunsets, framed by palm trees – Dolphin Island Resort is truly heaven.

Traditional Fijian warmth and hospitality is provided by manager Dawn Simpson. She will look after you as little or as much as you want ensuring a supply of delicious meals, drinks and cocktails are presented according to your taste.

She also has the local knowledge that is such a great help making the hard decisions in regard to your recreational pursuits.

On Dolphin Island there are four dwellings each with 2 guest bure suites sitting side by side, all built using elements of traditional Fijian architecture and design.

Elevated and enclosed by wide spacious verandahs these private villas catch the sea breezes and face the spectacular sunsets and sunrises

The interiors of the elegant guest bure suites look out through coconut trees to the tropical blue water surrounding the island.

The finest furnishings and amenities are provided for your comfort and enjoyment in the luxurious bures

Day loungers just below your bure insure a relaxing spot to enjoy the tropical beauty and gaze out over the sea.

The unique bathroom of the bures features a handcrafted free standing bath tub

There are individual sinks and a shower to complement the stone tiles and the bathtub.

The Main Bure is a gathering point and the center of activities, meals and includes several spots by the pools to relax and enjoy the warm weather and sip a refreshing glass of wine before your gourmet meal.

The interior of the Main Bure is designed for a casual get together, sipping a glass of wine, planning tomorrow's activities.

The open veranda offers spectacular views of the palm trees as the sun sets into the blue ocean waters.

The infinity pool is just outside the bure through the folding doors, take a dip and get refreshed before dinner.

All meals and most bar selections are included with your stay.

Meals at Dolphin Island Resort include fresh fish caught daily on display for your selection for that nights dinner. Your selected fish will be prepared and served for your meal.

Fresh fruits from the resort's garden are always available and include Mango, Banana, Papaya and Pineapple.

You choose where you would like to have your meals served and the staff will arrange it.

Some of the possibilities are the pool, floating Pontoon, even on the beautiful beach.
